Self Inking
A self-inking stamp contains a rubber stamp and ink pad in a single device. When the cartridge is pressed down, the rubber
stamp rotates away from the ink pad and stamps onto the paper. When the cartridge is lifted, the stamp rotates back and settles against
the ink.
Wood/Plastic Mount
The most common type of rubber stamp is a wood/plastic mounted stamp, which includes an etched piece
of real rubber adhered to a wooden block used as a handle. These stamps require a stamp pad for ink.
Rubber stamps can be used for a variety of projects. Most commonly, stamps are used by business for marking documents, envelopes,
etc. Stamps can be very generic in nature, with one word, such as "COPY" or "PAID" or be much more specific, such as address,
commissioner, notary, or form stamps.
Business stamps can save immense amounts of time, lend consistency to documents
and filing systems, and simplify processes.
At Lakeshore Rubber Stamp we are happy to help you design a stamp that suits your

Crafters and interior decorators have been using stamps for years to create personalized results. Some

on fabrics.

make your crafting ideas a reality.
